- dreadnought body style, solid Engelmann spruce top, Madagascar Rosewood back sides, round soundhole with style 28 multi-stripe rosette, antique white binding, multi-stripe top and back inlay, style 28 back purfling, genuine mahogany neck with modified "V" profile and standard taper, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with golden era style 45 abalone snowflake inlays, Madagascar rosewood headstock overlay with pearl angel wings inlay and script old style logo, three-per-side chrome tuners with large knobs, ebony modern belly bridge with bone bridge pins and black plastic dots, black pickguard, optional electronics, available in gloss finish with antique toner on top and satin neck, 1.6875 in. nut, 25.4 in. scale, hardshell case included, label signed and sequenced by John Prine, limited to a run of 70 instruments, mfg. 2017 only.
This model is based on John Prine's 1960s D-28 that he's played throughout his entire career.
