- Grand Concert body style, spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, round soundhole with three-stripe rosette (5/9/5 grouping), six-ply top binding with ivory (1913-18) or ivoroid (1918-1922) outer layer, three-ply back binding with ivory (1913-18) or ivoroid (1918-1922) outer layer, wide white backstripe surrounded by smaller black and white lines, cedar (1913-16) or mahogany (1916-1922) neck, 12/19-fret ivory (1913-18) or ivoroid (1918-1922)-bound ebony fingerboard, ivory (1913-18) or ivoroid (1918-1922)-bound slotted headstock, rectangular ebony bridge, Natural finish, 24.9 in. scale, total production of six instruments, mfg. 1913-1922.
This model was specially built for performer Vahdah Olcott-Bickford. Some models may have "Soloist" or "Olcott-Bickford Artist Model" inlaid on the headstock. Martin also produced two 00-44 classical nylon-string guitars (Model 00-44G, 1938).
