- nylon string classical configuration, spruce top, figured pearwood, flamed maple (1962-63), or rosewood (1961, 1978-1986) back and sides, round soundhole with floral pattern ring, four-ply tortoiseshell celluoloid top and back binding, three-piece mahogany neck, 12/19-fret rosewood fingerboard, rosewood headstock overlay, three-per-side gold tuners, tied ebony bridge, available in Natural satin finish, 14.5 in. body width, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 1961-1986.
In 1966, a rosewood bridge was introduced.
