GIBSON WRC Description
- offset double cutaway Strat-style body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, pointy headstock with black overlay and 1920s-style Gibson script logo, "WRC" on truss rod cover, six-on-one-side tuners, double locking Kahler Spyder (early models) or Floyd Rose (later models), two single coil (neck, mid) and one humbucker (bridge) EMG-style pickups, two knobs, three mini switches, black hardware, available in Black, Red, or White finish, tan leatherette case included, mfg. 1987-88.
This model was designed for Gibson by Wayne R. Charvel (WRC). It is reported that the first 200 models were "signature" models that included a letter from Charvel. Each guitar came with a tan leatherette case with pink lining.
