- offset double cutaway asymmetrical alder body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, fixed bridge, blackface peghead with screened logo, 4-on-a-side tuners, chrome hardware, 2 humbucker pickups, 2 volume/1 tone controls, available in Ebony, Red, or Black finish, mfg. 1987-1992.

In 1988, this model was renamed Q-90. In 1989, fretless fingerboard became available.
