- symmetrical double cutaway "Longhorn"-style mahogany body, AA flame maple top, three-ply top binding, mahogany '50s-rounded neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with small block inlays, multi-ply bound headstock with pearl logo and torch inlays, three-per-side Grover Keystone tuners, L.R. Baggs Piezo tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, two EMG 85 pickups, three gold speed knobs (regular pickup v, piezo v, tone), three-way pickup switch, dual outputs (one for regular pickups, one for piezo), gold hardware, available in Heritage Cherry Sunburst or Trans. Blue finish, 24.75 in. scale, limited edition run of 2,000 instruments (1,000 of each color finish), mfg. 2008 only.
The Trans. Blue finished Longhorn Double Cut was the July 2008 Guitar of the Month and the Heritage Cherry Sunburst finished Longhorn Double Cut was the November 2008 Guitar of the Month.
