- classical style, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, round soundhole with decorative Spanish rosette, black body binding, mahogany neck, 12/19-fret rosewood fingerboard, slotted headstock with center stripe and Gibson decal logo, three-per-side open-style chrome tuners with plastic buttons, rosewood wraparound bridge, 14.25 in. body width, 19 in. body length, 4.5 in. body depth, 25.5 in. scale, over 15,000 produced, mfg. 1962-1971.
The C-0 and C-1 are very similar with the only differences listed in literature indicating the C-0 has a one-piece top and back while the C-1 has a two-piece top and back.
