- spruce top, round soundhole, tortoiseshell pickguard, bound body/rosette, mahogany back/sides/neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, reverse belly rosewood bridge with white pins, blackface peghead with decal logo, six-per-side tuners with plastic buttons, available in Cherry Sunburst and Natural finishes, mfg. 1962-1977.

In 1963, strings-through-bridge replaced the original design, with no bridge pins. In 1965, the redesigned reverse bridge replaced the previous design, and a trapeze tailpiece added. In 1970, a standard bridge with white pins replaced the previous design, there was no trapeze tailpiece, and the Cherry Sunburst finish was discontinued.
