FENDER SET NECK STRATOCASTER (U.S. MFG. NO. 010-2700) Description
- offset double cutaway ash body, highly figured book-matched maple top, set maple neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, LSR roller nut, locking tuners, Fender Deluxe vibrato, two Texas Special single coil and one Seymour Duncan JB humbucker pickups, three knobs (v, two tone), five-way pickup switch, chrome hardware, available in Antique Burst or Natural finish, mfg. 1992-98.
In 1995, a mahogany body replaced ash. In 1998, a rosewood fingerboard replaced the ebony one. Different pickup variations were also available such as Lace pickups. Brite White finish with gold hardware was also optional.
