(disc. 2004), Crimson Red Trans. (2002-06), Honey Blonde Trans., Sapphire Blue Trans. (2002-06), Teal Green Trans. (disc. 2004), or Wine Trans./Midnight Wine (2006-09) finish, gigbag included, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 2002-2011.

In 2005, the Greasebucket tone circuit was introduced. In summer 2006, the Highway 1 Stratocaster was completely overhauled with new pickups that feature a high-gain distortion-friendly sound, the Greasebucket tone circuit on the bridge pickup, larger frets, a high-mass bridge, narrower bridge saddles, new colors, and vintage '70s styling (headstock decal).
