FENDER HARVARD Description

- 10W, 1-8 or 1-10 in. speaker, tube chassis, preamp: 6AT6, 12AX7, power: 2 X 6V6, 5Y3 rectifier, top numbered chrome control panel, three inputs, two pointer knobs (v, tone), diagonal tweed covering, brown tweed-era grille, mfg. 1955-1961.

The model number was 5F10. The Harvard is shown in some catalogs with 8 in. speakers and some with 10 in. speakers. Both were used at different times during the production of the amp. The Harvard was discontinued in 1961 when the Princeton and the Champ were too close in price to justify another amp in between. A 6G10 was shown in schematics, but never made it into production. Late models only have one 6V6 power tube.
