- offset double cutaway alder body, bolt-on thin-shouldered C-shaped maple neck based on Gilmour's 1983 U.S. Vintage '57 Strat neck, 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlays, Strat-style headstock, six-on-one-side Gotoh Vintage-style tuners, American Vintage Synchronized tremolo bridge with custom beveled tremolo block and shortened tremolo arm, single-ply beveled black acrylic pickguard, one custom hand-wound Fat '50s Strat (neck), one custom-wound Strat (middle), and one Seymour Duncan SSL-5 Strat (bridge) single coil pickups, three knobs (v, two tone), five-way pickup switch, one mini toggle switch (allows neck pickup to be used with both bridge and middle), nickel/chrome hardware, available in Black finish, 25.5 in. scale, deluxe black hardshell case, Evidence Audio guitar cable, custom leather strap, GHS DG Boomers strings, DG pick, Gilmour's "Live in Gdansk" CD/DVD package, Phil Taylor's "The Black Strat" book, polishing cloth, and certificate of authenticity included, mfg. summer 2008-present.
The first 500 guitars sold in both the NOS and Relic finishes include a limited edition signed copy of Phil Taylor's "The Black Strat" book.
