ESP M-I STANDARD Description

- similar to the M-I Custom, except has hardwood body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, standard vibrato, available in Bright Yellow, Candy Apple Red, Cherry Sunburst, Dark Metallic Blue, Pearl Pink Sunburst, or Pearl White finish, mfg. 1987-1990.

In 1988, Magenta, Metallic Black, Midnight Black, and Pearl Yellow were introduced; Bright Yellow and Cherry Sunburst finishes were disc. In 1990, Black and Snow White finishes were introduced; black hardware, single coil/humbucker pickups replaced original designs; Dark Metallic Blue, Magenta, Metallic Black, Midnight Black, Pearl Pink Sunburst, Pearl White, and Pearl Yellow finishes were disc.
