EPIPHONE U.S.A. MAP GUITAR (U.S. MFG.) Description
- map-shaped mahogany body, set-in neck, chrome hardware, tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, two covered humbucker pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), three-way selector switch, mfg. 1983 only.
Map guitar models were part of the final production runs at the original Kalamazoo plant prior to its closure in 1984. The Epiphone version of the Map guitar was introduced before the Gibson version, and some Epiphone models "became" Gibson models towards the end of the production run to meet demand.
