- thin single pointed cutaway body, dot fingerboard inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/trapeze tailpiece, tortoiseshell pickguard, metal peghead logo plate, nickel hardware, mini-humbucker pickup, volume/tone controls, pickup selector switch, available in Natural, Sunburst, or Royal Tan finish, 16.25 in. body width, 24.75 in. scale, mfg. 1960-1970.
In 1962, oval inlays were introduced and the vibrato tailpiece was discontinued. In 1963, the peghead plate was removed. In 1968, Cherry and Sunburst finishes were introduced. This model was also available as a 3/4 size with a 22 in. scale from 1961-62.
