EPIPHONE CENTURY Description
- unspecified wattage (until 1949), 1-12 in. speaker, tube chassis, single channel, three inputs, on/off switch, volume control, wood maple covering with "E" logo on grille, mfg. 1939-1957.
In 1949, wattage was found at 14W, vibrato was added to some models, covering was changed to a tweed plastic fabric with the "E" logo, tone control was added, cabinet size was increased, and it was only available as an AC model. In 1954, vertical slots were added to the grille. In 1955, output was increased to 15W, a channel was added, another input jack was added (two per channel), covering was changed to a yellow plastic linen, and a footswitch for the vibrato was available.
