- double cutaway Masonite body with vinyl edging, one or two pickups, "Coke bottle" headstock, early versions had a clear "Kidney"-shaped pickguard with a separate white vinyl underlay and the input jack mounted on the lower body edge. This was soon changed to the input jack mounted on a white painted "Seal"-shaped pickguard, available in Black, Bronze, or Blonde, introduced 1958, phased out 1966.
Note: The above model #3021 is closely associated with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and has strong collector appeal. Specs. MUST be as follows: Black finish, two pickups, "Coke bottle" headstock, concentric knobs, "Seal"-shaped pickguard, no tremolo.
