DANELECTRO COMMANDO Description

- 30W, 8-8 in. speakers, nine tube chassis, dual channels, control panel on inside of amp, six total inputs (three per channel), six knobs (v, b, t for each channel), electronic vibrato with two controls, dual cabinets that swing apart, brown simulated leather covering, brown cloth grille, mfg. 1956-1960.

In later 1956, the covering was changed to gray, but there are a few white ones out there as well.
This model had a massive number of speakers at eight. To get this all into a combo amp, they placed two cabinets (each cabinet with four speakers enclosed), that were placed back to back. In another words, it was a double faced amp with sound projecting from the front and the back. The amp would separate in the middle for access to the controls and the guts of the amp.
