CHANDLER AUSTIN SPECIAL Description
- single offset sharp cutaway bound alder body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, fixed bridge, six-on-one-side tuners, chrome hardware, one single coil (neck) and two dual single coils (bridge) lipstick tube pickups, volume and push/pull tone chickenhead control knobs, three-position switch, available in Black finish, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 1992-96, 1998-2000.
In 1993, White finish became available. This model was developed by Ted Newman-Jones with input from Keith Richards (Rolling Stones).
