- double sharp cutaway alder body, set-in maple neck, white pickguard, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, fixed bridge, slotted peghead, three-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, pearl or tortoiseshell pickguard, three mini humbucker Chandler pickups, volume/tone control, five-position switch, available in Gloss Black (Model 5552), Crimson Red (Model 5554), Surf Green (Model 5558), Trans. Vintage Blonde, or Trans. Wine Red finish, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 1992-2000, 2002-present.
In 1993, Crimson Red finish was introduced and Trans. Wine Red finish was disc.
