This model was the first Marshall amp to have a printed circuit board in the electronics. This was a model designed for a jazz application.

This model was the only Marshall amp to have four inputs with a Master Volume control. Rose-Morris called it the "Rock n´ Roll Baby."

This Marshall amp was the first for the company in many ways. It was the first to have the 6V6 tubes, Clestion Vintage 30 speakers, and a headphone jack.
