TREMOLUX (NARROW PANEL)

- 15W, 1-12 in. Jensen speaker, tube chassis, preamp: 12AY7, 2 X 7025, power: 2 X 6L6, 5AR4 rectifier, tremolo, top numbered control panel, four input jacks, five pointer knobs (mic v, inst. v, tone, s, d), tremolo foot control switch, diagonal tweed covering, brown tweed-era grille, mfg. 1955-1960.
First model was the 5E9. In 1957, output was changed to 18W (Model 5G9). In the later models, they may have different phase inverter and tremolo circuits. The nameplate changed in 1957. This was the first Fender amp with an electric tremolo unit.

- 30W, 1-10 in. speaker, tube chassis, preamp: 4 X 7025, power: 2 X 6L6GC, 5AR4 rectifier, tremolo, front brownface control panel, four input jacks (two bright, two normal), tremolo works on both channels, eight cream knobs (Bright: v, t, b, Norm: v, t, b, Both: s, i), cream tolex covering, maroon or wheat grille, mfg. 1961-63.
Model 6G9-A was first to have 6L6 tubes. In 1962, the 1-10 in. speaker was changed to 2-10 in. (Model 6G9-B). In 1963, the maroon grille was changed to a wheat grille and later that year the handle was changed to black.

- 30W, 2-10 in. speaker, tube chassis, preamp: 3 X 7025, 12AT7, power: 2 X 6L6GC, 5AR4 rectifier, tremolo, front blackface control panel, four input jacks (two bright, two normal), tremolo works on both channels, eight cream knobs (Bright: v, t, b, Norm: v, t, b, Both: s, i), black tolex covering, silver grille, mfg. 1964-66.
The Blackface was introduced as the Model AA763. In 1964, a bright switch was added. This amp used the same chassis as the Bandmaster, Concert, Pro, and Vibrolux of the same era.
