- offset double cutaway maple body, carved top, black pickguard, maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlay, fixed bridge, chrome hardware, double coil horseshoe pickup, two volume controls, two selector switches, available in Blonde or Turquoise Blue finish, mfg. 1954-59.
In 1957, the pickguard was enlarged and the controls were mounted on it, a chrome bar pickup replaced one of the "horseshoe" pickups, and Turquoise Blue finish became optional. This model was on the price list through 1969, though it was no longer available.

- offset double sharp cutaway maple body, carved top, pickguard, maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlay, fixed bridge, double coil horseshoe pickup, volume/tone controls, two switches, available in Natural or Turquoise Blue finish, mfg. 1957-1960.
In late 1957, the horseshoe pickup was replaced by a single coil horseshoe and chrome bar pickups. This model was on the price lists through 1967. There were several variations of this model that were made with 3 pickup designs or through-body neck constructions.

In 1958, a chrome bar pickup replaced the original pickup. In 1961, Fireglo finish became optional. By 1974, cresting wave body style became standard.
