- tulip style 3/4 size maple body, white pickguard, through-body maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlay, fixed bridge, chrome hardware, single coil pickup, volume/tone control, two-position switch, available in Black, Brown, Fireglo, Gray, or Natural finish, mfg. 1957-1980.
In 1958, a chrome bar pickup replaced the original pickup. In 1961, Fireglo finish became optional. By 1974, cresting wave body style became standard.
