- offset double cutaway arched top alder or ash body, natural binding, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece, curved point peghead, 3-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, 2 ESP LH-200 humbuckers, volume/tone controls (with coil tap switching capability), pickup selector switch, available in Black, Gunmetal Blue, Metallic Gold, or Pearl White finish, mfg. 1996-2000.
In 1998, Honey Sunburst, See-Through Blue, See-Through Green, See-Through Purple, and See-Through Red finishes were introduced as regular production finishes (these finishes were previously a $100 optional upgrade); Gunmetal Blue, Metallic Gold, and Pearl White finishes were disc.

- offset double cutaway arched top ash body, through-body maple neck, 24-fret bound ebony fingerboard, double locking vibrato, bound peghead, 6-on-a-side tuners, chrome hardware, single coil/humbucker EMG pickups, 1 volume/2-Tone controls, 3-position switch, available in Black, Fiesta Red, Magenta, Pearl Rose, or Pearl White finish, mfg. 1987-1993.
In 1988, Brite Red, Burgundy Mist, Gunmetal Blue, and Midnight Black finishes were introduced; Fiesta Red and Pearl Rose finishes were disc. In 1990, Candy Apple Red and Dark Metallic Blue finishes were introduced; black hardware replaced original part/design; Brite Red, Burgundy Mist, Magenta and Midnight Blue finishes were disc. In 1991, Dark Metallic Purple finish was introduced; bound fingerboard with 12th fret pearl logo block inlay, redesigned peghead, 3-per-side tuners replaced original part/designs. In 1992, Metallic Green finish was introduced; Dark Metallic Blue finish was disc.

HORIZON DELUXE

- similar to Horizon Custom, except has bolt-on neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, gold hardware, available in Black, Brite Red, Burgundy Mist, Gunmetal Blue, Magenta, or Pearl White finish, mfg. 1989-1992.
In 1990, Candy Apple Red and Dark Metallic Blue finishes were introduced; black hardware replaced original part/design; Brite Red, Burgundy Mist and Magenta finishes were disc. In 1991, Trans. Blue, Trans. Purple and Trans. Red finishes were introduced; bound fingerboard with 12th fret pearl logo block inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece, redesigned peghead, 3-per-side tuners replaced original part/designs; Candy Apple Red, Dark Metallic Blue and Gunmetal Blue finishes were disc. In 1992, Transparent Green finish was introduced; 24-fret fingerboard replaced original part/design; Cherry Sunburst finish was disc.
