- offset double cutaway arched top ash body, through-body maple neck, 24-fret bound ebony fingerboard, double locking vibrato, bound peghead, 6-on-a-side tuners, chrome hardware, single coil/humbucker EMG pickups, 1 volume/2-Tone controls, 3-position switch, available in Black, Fiesta Red, Magenta, Pearl Rose, or Pearl White finish, mfg. 1987-1993.
In 1988, Brite Red, Burgundy Mist, Gunmetal Blue, and Midnight Black finishes were introduced; Fiesta Red and Pearl Rose finishes were disc. In 1990, Candy Apple Red and Dark Metallic Blue finishes were introduced; black hardware replaced original part/design; Brite Red, Burgundy Mist, Magenta and Midnight Blue finishes were disc. In 1991, Dark Metallic Purple finish was introduced; bound fingerboard with 12th fret pearl logo block inlay, redesigned peghead, 3-per-side tuners replaced original part/designs. In 1992, Metallic Green finish was introduced; Dark Metallic Blue finish was disc.
