- symmetrical dual cutaway body, bass bout slightly longer than treble, glue-in neck, dot fingerboard inlay, bridge/tailpiece combination, metal peghead logo plate, one New York pickup, large white pickguard, two knobs, available in Cherry, Black, Silver Fox, Sunset Yellow, California Coral, or Pacific Blue finish, mfg. 1958-1970.
In 1959, P-90 pickups were introduced. In 1960, the body depth was changed to 1.375 in. with rounded body edges, and a symmetrical pickguard was introduced. In 1962, a Maestro vibrato tailpiece became optional. In 1963, a covered P-90 pickup was introduced and Silver Fox finish was optional. In 1966, the vibrato tailpiece was discontinued. This model originally was a single pickup Crestwood model.
