First Man amplifiers were produced in Japan during the late 1960s and possibly into the 1970s. The "F" in the First Man logo is very similar to the reverse "F" in Fender's logo and First Man's line of amplifiers are very similar to Fender's first solid-state line of amplifiers in the late 1960s. First Man also offered a variety of semi-hollowbody electrics and violin basses as well as a line of electric organs. First Man also had an unknown relationship with Mosrite and was possibly Mosrite's distributor in Japan as they appear in Japanese catalogs together.
