Luthier Bruce Herron started building guitars in 1979. The first Blue Star electric guitar was built in 1984. Herron's initial production model, the Travelcaster (a travel-sized six-string electric) was introduced in 1990. In his one-man shop, Herron now offered a range of electric stringed instruments distributed both in his hometown near Holland, MI, as well as through Elderly Instruments. Herron currently only offers their Banjoblaster and Mandoblaster models. For more information, visit their website or contact Blue Star directly.
Guitars previously built in Fennville, MI between 1981 and the early 2000s. Distributed by Elderly Instruments of Lansing, MI.
