WASHBURN B20 (STAGE SERIES) Description
- Firebird-style cutaway bound ash body, flame maple top, three-piece rock maple and rosewood neck-thru body, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with dot or target brass inlay, matching hockey stick-style headstock with four-on-one-side tuners, Washburn Sure Track bridge with STB, one J-Style and one P-style pickups, four knobs, three-way switch, chrome hardware, available in Black or Sunburst finish, mfg. early 1980s-mid 1980s.
The B20II was offered for a short time in the early 1980s with brass binding and inlays. In the mid-1980s, a White-finished version was released with black binding. It was about this time that EMG-style pickups replaced the traditional J- and P-style. A BBR model was also offered in the mid 1980s with Black finish, black hardware, and red binding/accents.
