- Grand Concert-style body, Sitka spruce top, Liberty Tree tulip poplar back and sides, round soundhole with maple, bloodwood, koa, and color core 13-star American Flag themed rosette, ivoroid body binding with abalone top inlay, Tropical American mahogany neck, 14/20-fret bound ebony fingerboard with 12-20 fret laser etched maple, bloodwood, koa, and color core rendition of a rolled Declaration of Independence that extends into the top of the guitar, bound headstock with ebony overlay, Taylor logo, and 13 star bloodwood and dyed maple American Flag inlay, three-per-side gold tuners with ebony buttons, ebony bridge, available in Natural gloss finish, 25.5 in. scale, limited edition run of approximately 400 instruments, mfg. 2002 only.
The back and sides of this guitar is from the Liberty Tree that originally stood on St. John's College in Annapolis, MD. Hurricane Floyd destroyed the tree in 1999, and Bob Taylor eventually purchased the salvageable wood from the tree.
