SILVERTONE 1457 Description
- offset double cutaway asymmetrical body, Masonite semi-solid construction, bolt-on neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, six-on-one-side tuners with metal "skate-key" tuners, metal trapezoidal bridge with rosewood stick saddle, white pickguard, two single coil lipstick tube pickups with stacked volume/tone controls, three-way pickup switch, available in Red Sunburst with metallic accents finish, mfg. 1964-67.
This model is known as an amp-in-case model because the case was fitted with a 5-watt amplifier, tremolo, and an 8-inch speaker. A footswitch was included as well. Values listed above include the amp and guitar as a package.
