- offset double cutaway semi-hollow bound maple body, figured maple top/back, bound wedge soundhole, white bi-level pickguard, checkered bound body, through-body maple neck, 21-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl triangle inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/R-style trapeze tailpiece, three-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, two pickups, five knobs (two v, two tone, mix), three-position switch, available in Fireglo, Jetglo, or Mapleglo finish, mfg. 1987-present.
This model is derived from a design released in 1957. In 1991, this model was renamed the 381V69.
