- offset double cutaway maple body, neck-through body bi-laminated maple neck, 21-fret Mahassar ebony fingerboard with pearl arrow inlay, fixed bridge, graphlon nut, 4-on-a-side mini tuners, Hipshot Bass Extender Key, one J-style and one P-style active pickups, four knobs (v, t, m, b), three-way pickup switch, eight-way dual inline selector mounted in the rear cavity, black hardware, available in Black Pearl Burst, Blue Pearl Burst, Purple Pearl Burst, or Red Pearl Burst finish, mfg. 1990-94.
Model designed in conjunction with bassist Randy Jackson. This model was optional with a koa body/neck, rosewood fingerboard, and Hipshot D-Tuner.
