- offset double cutaway hardwood body, bi-laminated hard rock maple necks in a 12/6 configuration, 24-fret maple fingerboards, both necks in 24.75 in. scale, 2 dual blade humbuckers per neck, master volume knob, two tone knobs (one per pickup), 3-way pickup selector (6 string), 3-way pickup selector (12-string), 3-way neck selector switch, mfg. 1984-86.
The tone control for the humbucking pickups allows the capability of single or dual coil output. Fully opening the pot to 10 achieves single coil mode. Turning counterclockwise to 7 brings the second coil into operation. Tone circuitry is standard in function between 7 and 0.
