- offset double cutaway poplar body, bolt-on bi-laminated maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlay, 34 in. scale, Schaller fixed bridge, graphlon nut, 4-on-a-side mini tuners, gold hardware, 2 active humbucker pickups, volume control, 2 stacked tone controls, pickup blend control, active/passive bypass mini switch. System requires a 9-volt battery, available in ´62 Blue, Black, Charcoal Gray, Pearl White, or Sunfire Red finish, mfg. 1985-1994.
In 1991, the original Super Ferrite pickups were changed to newer humbucker style. In 1986, the Dyna-Bass was offered with an optional Kahler Bass Tremolo (retail list $929).
