- entry level Santana model, mahogany body and mahogany 22-fret set neck, rosewood fingerboard with SE shell (disc. mid-2002) or white pearloid (mid-2002-06) inlays, gloss black headstock with Santana SE logo, unbound (disc.) or bound fingerboard and headstock (mid-2002-06), PRS designed tremolo or stop tailpiece, PRS designed non-locking tuners, two covered humbucker (disc.-2002) or two uncovered open coil pickups (mid-2002-06), 1 volume/1 tone control, three-way selector switch, with (mid-2002-06) or w/o (disc. mid-2002) small contoured 3-layer pickguard, current production has contoured lower about for player comfort, available in Royal Blue (disc. 2003), Tobacco Sunburst (2002-06), Pearl White (mfg. 2002-03), Silver (mfg. 2002-03), Grey Black (disc.), Teal (disc.), Aqua Metallic (mfg. 2002-03), Black (2004-06), or Vintage Cherry finish, includes Cordura gig bag, mfg. in Korea, mfg. 2001-06.
