- offset double cutaway, maple body, carved figured maple top, figured maple neck, 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl maple leaf inlay, locking Wilkinson vibrato, ebony veneer on peghead, 3-per-side locking Sperzel tuners, 2 active humbucker Reflex pickups, volume/tone control, 3-position switch, coil tap in volume control, active electronics, available in Antique Gold, Bahamian Blue, Burny Amber, Burgundy Burst, Chardonnay Rouge, Chardonnay Rouge Burst, Cherry, Cherry Burst, Citrus Green, Citrus Green Burst, Deep Sea Blue, Emerald Isle Blue, Natural, Pink Glow, Pink Glow Burst, Purple Haze, Shamu Blue, Shamu Blue Burst, Tobacco Burst, Vintage Gold Burst, or Walnut finish, disc. 1994.
This instrument was designed for Big Jim Sullivan. This model had black hardware as an option. The 2012 JS Legend now comes with Eggle's handwound pickups with the "Artist" wiring and a natural silk finish. Priced from £3,539.
