MODULUS GUITARS VINTAGE J BASS (MODEL VJ4/GVJ4/BSJV) Description
- sleek offset double cutaway swamp ash body, bolt-on graphite neck, 21-fret phenolic fingerboard with white dot inlay, Gotoh bridge, four-on-one-side tuners, tortoiseshell pickguard, chrome hardware, two Bartolini J pickups, four knobs (two v, b, t), available in Black, Cream, Green, Red, or White finish, 34 in. scale, mfg. 1994-present.
In 1996, Green, Red, and White finishes were discontinued. Earlier models may feature 2 EMG-JV pickups and EMG-BTS active electronics. In 1997, the option of no pickguard/rear-routed controls was offered at no extra premium.
