MESA/BOOGIE M6 CARBINE (FATHOM 600) Description
- 600W @ 4 or 2 ohms (320W @ 8 ohms), bass two-space rackmount head, hybrid chassis with 1 X 12AX7 preamp tube and eight power MOSFETs, single channel, front black control panel, single input, seven black knobs (g, b with push/pull deep switch, m, five-way voice switch, t, di level with a push/pull pre switch, MV with a push/pull mute switch), active/passive input switch, power switch, rear panel: four voice function switch jacks, mute switch jack, two Speakon outs with ohm switch, tuner out jack, effects loop with bypass switch, XLR out with ground/lift switch, black casing, mfg. 2008-present.
Mesa initially called this amp the Fathom 600, but another company outside the music industry was already using it for another product, so they decided to call it the M6 Carbine.
