- double rounded cutaway semi-hollow bound maple body, arched maple top, two f-holes, white body binding, mahogany neck, 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays, bound rosewood headstock overlay with decal logo, three-per-side tuners, plastic-based adj. bridge, Bigsby-style vibrato tailpiece, raised white pickguard, two exposed DeArmond-style pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), three-way pickup switch, chrome hardware, available in Black or Burgundy finish, 24.9 in. scale, total production of 751 instruments, mfg. 1965-67.
Martin also produced three GT-75 12-String guitars with no vibrato (1966 only), one GT-75R (1965 only, specifications unknown), and three prototype GT-75s in 1965 labeled XTE-65.
