MARTIN E-18 Description
- slightly offset double cutaway contoured hard maple body with thin walnut and rosewood strips, set one-piece mahogany neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, rounded Stauffer-style headstock with rosewood overlay and CFM initial logo, three-per-side tuners, chrome plated brass combination bridge/tailpiece, two covered DiMarzio humbucker pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), three-way pickup switch, single mini phasing switch, chrome hardware, available in Natural finish, 25.4 in. scale, total production of 341 instruments, mfg. 1979-1983.
Early production models may have brass control knobs. Black plastic knobs were used on later models.
