MARTIN D-16(T) FIRST VERSION Description
- dreadnought style, solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, multi-ring herringbone rosette, tortoise color binding, herringbone back strip, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone diamond and square inlays, solid rosewood headstock overlay with raised gold foil logo, three-per-side chrome tuners with small buttons, rosewood bridge with abalone diamond inlays, tortoise color pickguard, available in Natural Satin finish, 25.4 in. scale, mfg. 1995-98.
In 1998, the "T" was dropped from the model name and it was called the D-16 from here on out.
