- Concert 12-fret 0-style body, solid Sitka spruce top, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, standard X scalloped bracing, round soundhole with three-ring Style 45 rosette (5/9/5 grouping with a large center ring of abalone pearl), grained ivoroid binding, Style 45 abalone pearl top, back, and side inlays, Style 45 back purfling, mahogany neck, 12/19-fret ebony grained ivoroid-bound fingerboard with Style 45 snowflake and 19th fret Joan Baez signature inlays, grained ivoroid-bound slotted headstock with solid Indian rosewood overlay and torch inlay, logo stamp on back of headstock, three-per-side gold side-mount Irving Sloane tuners with grained ivoroid buttons, ebony bridge with long saddle, fossilized ivory bridge pins with pearl dots, tortoise color pickguard, two labels with one signed by Joan Baez and one under the top, Natural polished gloss finish with Aging Toner top, 24.9 in. scale, case included, limited edition run of 59 instruments, mfg. 1998 only.
This model was the first artist signature model in Martin's "Woman & Music" program.
