KAPA CHALLENGER Description
- offset double cutaway, bolt-on neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, six-on-one-side tuners, covered bridge, Jazzmaster-style vibrato tailpiece, white pickguard, two double coil pickups, three knobs (two v, tone), three-way pickup switch or three slider switches on the upper bass bout, chrome hardware, available in Black, Candy Apple Red, Ocean Turquoise, Sunburst, Thunderbird Blue, or White finish, mfg. mid- to late 1960s.
This model is roughly based on a Fender Jazzmaster. In circa 1966, the single pickup switch was changed from a three-way to three slider switches.
