- offset dual cutaway poplar or korina body (bass horn slightly extended), bolt-on maple neck, 25.5 in. scale, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dice inlay 12th fret markers, 3-per-side headstock, chrome hardware, Wilkinson GTB 100 stop tailpiece, 2 exposed humbuckers, volume/tone control, 3 way selector, available in Black, Silver Sparkle, or Natural finish, mfg. 1996-2001.
This model was designed in conjunction with Scott Ian (Anthrax). This model is also available with a Wilkinson VS-100 tremolo as Model JJ1 W (this option was discontinued in 1998).
