- similar to the JRS-1, available in a hand painted finish by artist Peter Max, mfg. 1997 only.
Too few of these exist for accurate statistical representation. In 1997, Jackson offered a very limited series of guitars hand painted by artist Peter Max. Series I models were to be painted all over, and limited to a total of 12 pieces. Series II models were to be painted on the face of the body only, and limited to 24 pieces. However, a total of only 4 pieces were actually completed out of the entire project. There has not been a price determined because of no activitiy on the market and the rarity.
