HAMER NEWPORT (MODEL NEW) Description
- double cutaway body style, Ivoroid bound Honduras mahogany neck and body, neck has white dot inlays, hand carved, arched spruce top with two f-holes, two Hamer "Phat Cat" single coil pickups had built in Seymour Duncan's Custom Shop, these are designed so that they can be replaced with humbuckers without altering the pickup cavities. Tune-o-matic bridge and Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, Grover Super Rotomatic tuners, available in Black Cherry Burst (2000-09), Jazzburst (2000-09), Trans. Orange Sparkle/Vintage Orange, or Vintage Natural (2001-09) finish, mfg. 1999-2009.
