- similar to the S-4 CE HR, except has a pearl Chesterfield/logo peghead inlay, gold tuners, and available in a Black, Natural, or White high gloss finish, case included, mfg. 1987-2000.
This model was called the Songbird until 1998 when it was changed to the high gloss version of the S-4 CE HR. A Songbird Custom model was available in 1989 with gold tuners and a black, red, or white top finish with black back and sides.
