- 12-string configuration, jumbo body based on the F-50 specs, solid spruce top, maple arched back, maple sides, round soundhole, single rosette, tortoiseshell body binding, three-piece maple/walnut neck, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone block inlays with MOP V inserts, blackface headstock with G Shield and Guild logo inlays, six-per-side chrome tuners, rosewood bridge with white pins, tortoise pickguard, available in Natural or Sunburst finish, 17 in. body width, 5 in. body depth, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 1968-1987.
This model was available by special order only between 1968 and 1974. In 1976, an ebony bridge was introduced. In 1987, this model was renamed the JF-65M-12.
